|Thai Network for Agroforestry Education (ThaiNAFE)The Thai Network on Agroforestry Education (ThaiNAFE) consists of 11 universities throughout the country. It is coordinated from Chiang Mai, Faculty of Agriculture, Chiang Mai.
The second national seminar ‘Dimensions of Agroforestry for Future Communities’, was organized at Naresuan University in October 2005.
Joint research among member institutions has become important part of the agenda. Research proposals have been developed, for submission to national research foundations in 2006.
A Thai translation of ‘A guide to Learning Agroforestry‘ was published in 400 copies and distributed widely.
A national workshop on ‘Guidelines for teaching agroforestry at tertiary level’ was held on January 22-24, 2004, at Prince of Songkhla University, where 40 participants attended.

Dr. Pramoth Kheowvongsri is the current chair of ThaiNAFE.
He got elected during NAFEC Meeting in December 2007. Dr. Pramoth Kheowvongsri earned his MSc degree (Watershed and Environmental Management) from Kasetsart University in Thailand and Doctor of Philosopy degree (Biologie des Populations et Ecologie) from Universite Montpellier II in France. He is a lecturer at the Faculty of Natural Resources of Prince of Songkla University (PSU). He specializes in watershed management and agroforestry.
